CHARLIE'S 1ST BATH TIME | HARRY & ROSE ENGLAND

Monday, 27 February 2017
Bath times are such a beautiful part of baby's routine that we can enjoy. Most will love the sensation of being submerged in warm water and splashing their little toes around. For us, this is a great way to allow Ella to feel involved as she can help to gently wash her baby brother too.

If you've read my post 'Baby Products I Regret Buying' then you'll my mini rant about our wholesale style purchases of highly fragranced baby bath products which on closer inspection were not suitable for newborn skin. I was mindful of this when deciding to bathe Charlie and decided on two things.

1 - Not to bath him as much. We used to wash Ella every single day when she was newborn which was totally unnecessary, they're not that dirty - and let's face it, when you have a 20 month old you truly know what muck is!

2 - Use natural products. Yes we are all suckers for the heavenly scents of particular high street brands however the same blissful aromas can be found with organic baby bath products, I can personally vouch for the range by Harry & Rose.

I used the Harry & Rose hair & body wash and nourished Charlie's gentle skin with the body lotion afterwards. He was so snuggly wrapped up in their super soft & fluffy organic hooded bath towel.

You can watch his first bath here!
